Julianna Schober and Samantha Parker will be playing violin, while Deborah Guillory plays piano.

4:00 – 4:30 pm: Half Hour Histories with Benjamin M. Hickey
Ben Hickey, Curator of Collections and Exhibitions, will share with you information about 10 works of art that shaped his life and career.

2 – 5 pm: FREE Children’s Drop-In Activity
Jenny Burnham will lead children making American flags out of clay for Independence Day! Any age child can do this craft.

2 – 5 pm: FREE Children’s Craft with Macaroni Kid
Macaroni Kid will be here making a patriotic craft with children! Any age child is welcome.

2 – 5pm: Art by Amanda Roe
$ · Buy local! Local artist Amanda Roe will have her artwork for sale!

Come out and enjoy the annual Fireworks Over Lake Darbonne on Saturday, July 1. Our title sponsors are Hampton Law Firm, Halley Timber Company and Mcdonald’s in Farmerville. The U.P. Chamber pyrotechnics show will be located again at Hwy 33 Ramp Road between Rhett’s Tails and Shells and Lake Darbonne Hotel. There will be other events throughout the day at Rhett’s Tails and Shells including the Boat Parade, Car and Bike Show, Horseshoe Throwing Contest, Live Music, Food and other forms of entertainment. A portion of the proceeds will go to supporting Homeless Veterans.
